Aptika announces the new Evolis Zenius 2 card printer

We are excited to introduce the brand-new Evolis Zenius 2, the compact and efficient card printer designed for small to medium-sized printing needs. Sleek, lightweight, and intuitive, the Zenius 2 delivers professional-quality cards with impressive speed and flexibility.

A well-designed card printer

The Zenius 2 combines performance and simplicity in a modern, compact design that easily fits into any workspace. It prints single-sided cards in full color at up to 180 cards per hour, or up to 700 cards per hour in monochrome. With its 50-card feeder, manual insertion slot, and dual output hoppers, the Zenius 2 offers both autonomy and flexibility.

Professional results, every time

Equipped with DTC direct-to-card printing technology, the Zenius 2 ensures crisp, vibrant results at 300 dpi, with extended resolution options up to 600 dpi in color and 1200 dpi in monochrome. It also supports rewrite technology, making it possible to print, erase, and reprint temporary cards such as visitor badges, loyalty cards, or student IDs.

The Zenius 2 goes beyond printing with smart security features. Depending on the version, it supports multiple encoding options (magnetic, contact, and contactless), UV effect printing, a double overlay layer for enhanced durability, and digital erasing to protect sensitive data after each job.

• Zenius 2 Expert – Adds Ethernet connectivity, encoding options, and compatibility with YMCKOO ribbon for UV security and dual overlay protection.

Both versions include a 1-year license of IDpack Basic and a 3-year warranty, making them a reliable choice for professional use.
