HID FARGO HDP5000e - Color Ribbon - YMCFK - 500 prints

HID FARGO HDP Ribbons and HDP Film are engineered to work together in the HDP retransfer process, helping produce durable, tamper-resistant cards with crisp 600 dpi or 300 dpi image quality. In retransfer printing, the image is printed onto a film and then fused to the card surface, which helps maintain image quality and over-the-edge coverage, especially on “technology cards” where embedded electronics can create uneven surfaces. HID also offers a High Durable HDP Film option to improve abrasion resistance for applications where cards are handled frequently and need longer service life.

The HID FARGO 084514 (84514) YMCFK Color Ribbon is a full-color YMCFK ribbon designed for the HID FARGO HDP5000e platform. It prints YMCK process color for photo-quality images and includes a resin black (K) panel to produce sharp, high-contrast black elements such as text, fine lines, and barcodes. In addition, it includes a fluorescing (F) panel that enables UV-visible security graphics or text elements that are not intended to be easily seen under normal lighting, but can be verified under UV light to help deter alteration and counterfeiting.

With a yield of up to 500 prints/images per roll, 084514 is well-suited for ongoing badge production where you need consistent full-color output plus the ability to add an extra covert security feature during the same print cycle.
